Has any noticed that some yahoo music lyrics are wrong? I know they are supposed to come from the music companys but come on..... In amy winehoused rehab the second verus obviously states that she aint got seventeen days (in the song it sounds like seventy,seventeen and seventy sound familiar, ya?). However in one of the end versus it CLEARLY is in the song and on the lyrics page that she aint 10 wks. 10wks=70 days? So i check a few others and found TONS of words that are diffrent from the actual songs. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this? I agree this seems petty. But I found that some key words change the whole meaning of the versus.

Do you ever wish that most pop music had no lyrics? IMPORTANT! By pop music I just mean popular music as a whole. Anything that could ever be played on mainstream radio, let's say. Not just music with synthesizers instead of loud guitars. This isn't a forum for you to rant about how much you hate Lady GaGa, and how dumb the whole disco stick metaphor is. Anyway, it seems to me that because pop has lyrics, a lot of people tend to ignore the music, beyond the most basic rhythm. Very little depresses me more than people saying that they like rock music because it has more meaning that rap. It seems like good music should have meaning in the music. Lyrics in pop seems to give some listeners the impression that the pop song is an inherently deep medium, and it takes some intelligence or skill to deal with. That just adds to the elitist mind set of classic rock reactionaries and their ilk. I'm also sick of having to defend rap by saying that most lyrics are not just gangsta caricatures. Because even if that were the case, the genre could be great. Great production and rapping, even if the lyrics are not about anything particularly deep, can make for a good song. And circling back to that first point, it bothers me when people treat lyrical artists like Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen as made by their lyrics. Both of them are great songwriters, too. They play simple music for the most part, but it's all musically sound. If one of them was just singing nonsense symbols, their music would still be great. And that's the end of it. I'm usually not too big on unprovoked rant questions, but I'm in the mood today. I guess I want to know if you agree, or have more thoughts on the matter. Unwanted music lyrics coming through speakers? My computer has, for quite awhile now, played a set of lyrics that are entirely unfamiliar to me at random intervals of the day. A rap-like "Girl why you wanna hate me?" sounds through the speakers at random intervals, at entirely random times, not lasting for more than a three to four seconds. It's not harming my computer, that I can tell, but it'll play when I have other programs running, or while I'm playing other music. Just within the past few weeks, there is also another sound, a very alternative-music sounding "yeah" will come through, again for about three to four seconds. I have had Task Manager open while this has happened, and I know how to use it, and I cannot see any changes in processes when the lyrics play. It plays whether or not I am connected to the internet, whether or not I have any windows open, or whether or not I'm signed into any of my three messengers (Yahoo, AIM or MSN). This doesn't appear to be harming my computer as of right now that I know of, as I said, but it is a nuisance and I would like to nip it in the bud if it's potentially harmful.This can happen 3-8 times in an hour, or can happen once per day, it's really very random. If someone could tell me what this is/how to stop it, I would very much appreciate it.

I can write lyrics, sing, but cant write music. I need some help!? I recently met this girl and she inspired me to write some lyrics. Does Yahoo contradict itself? I find Yahoo to be a bit of a contradiction. On Yahoo answers, every little thing is a violation, but on things such as yahoo music, etc., anything goes (violent lyrics, language, etc.). I totally think censorship is dumb, because let's face it, it can't be avoided, whatever is hidden will be eventually found. My main point is isnt it dumb that yahoo is super strict on yahoo answers, yet elsewhere, such as boards and chatrooms, everything goes? Why doesnt Yahoo just give up and allow a thing called free speech in here? Why should disliking something, disagreeing with someone, or just having a different opinion be a violation? Some people take it too far, but why let a few rotten apples ruin it for everyone else? What's your opinion on this??? I say this because so many things have been violated, even though many things are not bad at all. So many chatting violations for not chatting, and having my last account being suspended over an answer i gave that wasnt even offensive really ticked me off. This is why i ask this. How do you find the directory listing on the new Yahoo site? A few weeks back I asked about finding the old directory listing that Yahoo used to have. The answer I got was that it is on the left hand side of the Yahoo homepage. That listing is Yahoo services, not the directory listing. The directory listing I am referring to had about 6 initial links toward the bottom of the homepage that were Business, Entertainment, etc. I could then click on the Entertainment link, and it would bring up directory listings or categories such as Music and Movies. I could then click on Music, and it would bring up more directory listings such as Artist, Lyrics, etc. Can anyone help with this question?
