Notebook of blank sheet music? I know there are notebooks of sheet music out there, but I was wondering if anyone has come across a notebook that has single staves and grand staves in the same book. I'm sick of printing out sheets from blanksheetmusic.net, and want a notebook that I can just use. If anything I'll just end up buying a notebook of each, but I can't even find a notebook that just has the grand staves, none of them have the groups of two that I need! I don't want the clefs or anything like that either, just blank five-line staves. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Is it absolutely necessary to read sheet music ? Ok, I have been seld tutoring my self on guitar for just over a year. Occasionally I take some tutoring, but because of my heavy college workload.. I can't stay steadily in any music class. So my tutoring is mostly informal, which is good- its no added expense. So first I learnt my major, minor, sharp, 7th and 5th chords. Now I can understand basic keys, how to find a key, how to make chords that all fit into one key..etc. Yet I am at loss to ready sheet music. I understand perfectly if I am reading letter diagrams, or watching chord charts, but everytime I look at sheet music ...i draw a blank. Which leads me to question, is the ability to ready sheet music really necesary to play a guitar properly ? Upon reading over I realized that there are many typo's in the question. I have a question on reading piano sheet music please? Ok this might be a dumb question but I am teaching myself to play piano with the help of my book and i am about to start playing real hard music. yay! So normally I play with first my right hand then my left ..read the right hand line then the left and play separatly but if they both have notes ..one is not blank or full of rests or anything do I play them both at once? I do don't I? I play the left and the right hand at once unless either line has specific rests or pauses?

How do you prepare for a concert as a piano accompanist? I have a chorus concert coming up very soon. I've only played in one or two chorus concerts, and as a piano accompanist I've done fine. The Fold: Secrets Keep You Sick? I just bought The Fold: Secrets Keep You Sick CD. I like looking at the words to get to know the music better. But, the music sheet is blank for the words and you can only see the words if you tilt it and strain your eyes. It is REALLY hard to see though even if you do do that. Good Gifts for a Musician....? One of my friends plays the keyboard and writes most of the music for his band, and I want to give him something which'll help him with it. I can only think of blank sheet music pages and maybe some blank CDs on which to record the songs, but those seem trite and a wee bit boring. Is there anything else that I can give him, maybe a bit more special or personal?

Notebook of blank sheet music?? I don't want to keep on printing out seperate sheets of paper! So I want to purchase a notebook of blank music sheets for piano & guitar. My daughter's 8th grade dance is coming up and her school sent home 5 blank sheets of paper in the mail telling the students to type a list of music they want to be played at their final dance of the year as a homework assignment given by the principal.
