What are some GOOD fundraising ideas? Please HELP?

I need some help with some fundraising ideas for our Band Club and Booster Club. We're have a competition at The Forum Music Festivals in Spring and we have about 10,000$ left to raise! Please HELP!!!

our most popular selling thing was pizza hut cards, you get this pizza cards and sell them to ppl for i tihnk 10 bucks... on the card after they bought 10 medium pizzas the get the 10th free or something like that... it went well with our school ... we also sold candles which brought in some alright cash flow Goodluck!!
Have everyone bring in a real easy recipe and make a cook book to sell. Paint house numbers on peoples curbs in school colors. Have a huge garage sale. Do a search online for more ideas...good luck!

Have a trivia night. It takes a little while to plan, but if you start now, you may be able to get one going before your trip. During your trivia night, have a silent auction. Get local businesses to donate things for that. The beginning of the year is a great time to beg for donations from businesses, because many of them have yearly budgets for charity, and they have a lot to give early on. Concentrate on small, locally owned businesses, that way you won't have to go through some corporate office in another city. Good luck, Paul
My company has a fundraising program--it has grown like crazy over the past year because of the economy. It is a nationwide discount card that sells for $20, you keep $10, and the donor ends up saving way more than they paid for it, so it's an easy sell.
