  1. Contact your local Society of American Magicians/ Intern'l Brotherhood of Magicians and ask for a group to do a competition/show.
  2. What about a Coffee fundraiser? Specialty coffee and beverages are an exploding market nationwide and it practically sells itself. Java Joe's Roasting Company is an upstate New York based coffee roaster, who specializes in fundraising. Organizations will realize a profit of $2.50 or more per bag sold. The products will be customized to promote your organization (free of charge) and there are no set up fees or minimums. This fundraising program is equitable and offers your supporters a first class practical product that is perfect for every day use. Good luck! I hope I was able to help. p.s. My son's preschool made $2,496 during a 2 week campaign.
  3. I am on the board of our local YMCA and on our fundraising committee, and although I'm not sure how much you're looking to raise, I do think that this might be one possibility. We found, what I think, is a very clever fundraising idea. Check out www.ArubaYFundraiser.com and download our digital shopping tool. It won't cost you anything, and takes less than a minute...and when you're done, we've just made a dollar. What I like so much about this is that it isn't a single event, but will help raise more funds over time, thus your organization making more money in the long run. And if you're at a university, I can think of one or two things you can do to get assistance on campus, by creating a competition between some of the fraternities and/or sororities in helping to raise funds using this idea. If you're interested in learning how we've set this up to maximize the funds raised via sponsors, or any of the other ideas mentioned above, do send me a note to ross@stglimited.com and I'll send you either the notes from our meetings, or at least pointers on how you might do the same! Hope this helps! Success with any project you decide on! Ross B
